The Elder Scrolls: Bloodmoon is essentially a new landmass, situated north and west of the main continent in the game. You need Morrowind but don't need Tribunal to play it, and it does add the very important Tribunal journal fixes to Morrowind if necessary. The new landmass is Solstheim, and it's both large and detailed.
